So I've been playing the game for about 2 week and I have to say that this is one awesome game. When I first started, some of the levels seemed impossible, mainly because I was just coloring the plättchen like crazy without planning ahead. But after playing a level a couple of times and finding out it's secrets (like hidden plättchen that can help you fill you Energy Bar quicker), you learn to strategize and you can rack up high scores in no time. Strategy is the key, this is definitely not a brainless puzzler.
One thing that almost put me off of the game was the barrage of items that swarm the screen in a couple of levels (I'm looking at you Fruity Smile Fantasy and Haunted Wood Fantasy ), but once you figure out when and where they come from, they're easy to deal with.
I'm really glad you added the Copycat and Mission levels, they are what keep me coming back for more puzzling punishment (gotta get all of the Time Diamonds and unlock more goodies). |

@WiiBoy: I wanted to ask you something. You said something and it's been on my mind for a while now.
"....maybe it is too hard for some people ... but please keep trying ... we will help you out with that shortly by making the game easier for you! How this will work will be told later. Stay tuned. "
What did you mean by this?
Also, thank you for the following kind remarks!!
| Quote: |
| "WiiWare-World deleted the most of the positive feedback comments and told the world that WE sent people there to hype our game, which just is not true. Reading their review told us, that they have not played the game, not mentioning that the Fantasy Worlds can be switched and that not every Fantasy World needs you to shoot flying-around-obstacles. We don't know why exactly they really dismissed our debut title but it was great to see PLÄTTCHEN-Fans over there trying to save the day while they had blocked our IP-Adresses to lock us out. Thank you again especially to 'maka' and 'SonicKnuckles8' - we know that it was a hard fight. IGN sees PLÄTTCHEN as a hidden gem and rated it with a decent 7.4 . " |
I can't believe they did that! I hadn't even noticed!
For the record, it's KnucklesSonic8 but I ALWAYS appreciated how you guys tracked me down to try and find me. I keep forgetting to come here sometimes but I'm gonna be more regular now and hopefully express myself! |

Yes - there are some cheats in PLÄTTCHEN which make the game easier! We are still not sure when we will release them - and in which way we will do that. So, do you have too much Problems with PLÄTTCHEN KnucklesSonic8?

I downloaded it finally! I have to say it's really fun (im getting pwned though) and for a Wiiware game it's graphically stunning. Though I REALLY wish you could switch colors with the D-Pad, I keep making mistakes of using the wrong color or I cant turn quick enough.
Whats this about changing fantasy worlds? |

Please read through all this posts to learn everything about PLÄTTCHEN. You can change FantasyWorlds once you got enough Time Diamonds (beat Missions, Copycat-levels). So you also get new FantasyMEs.
Lock the ColorWheel by holding any button! Use the Nunchuck to rotate it if you want.
Great to see, that you like PLÄTTCHEN and thank you for the great words! It was time that someone mentions the graphics
I think you have to play it for several hours (and after sleeping one night) to get all the things into your mind!
You can find the 'hidden' games by playing the game - I do not want to spoil you ... but you will find the mazes in Mission 5, and other surprises you will find in the fifth sector. Read the depending threads to get more information.
Have fun with ZeLeLi |

| I know this is a bit irrelevant, but I feel I must share it, and I know those who tried the party modes know about this. If you use the nunchuck as another player in the party modes, obviously it will supply another player, so I was messing around with it, and I noticed, that FantasyME for that is Kubi! Thought I needed to share that. |

Wow Botsu! You are really good!!
But, have you ever heard of Wiiloveit.com? There is a special where he mentions that Kubi has a cameo appearance there
http://www.wiiloveit.com/Home/news/news-bites/june-2009-1/bit-boy---exclusive-details
And hey, did you also find the Robot from Vektor Tank? He is also there as a FantasyME but in a metallic-look (not flat-shaded)

Is that the only way to get Kubi as a FantasyME?
Hey I saw Kubi too! ...

Yeah - Kubi is everywhere Just log out and you will see there is Kubi as an icon on the top here in the forums
You can also get Kubi once you got enough Time Diamonds - I think aenigma found and listed all of them in another thread!

Yeah! So I am not really sure if you can manage that before Bit Boy!! will be released in the US
So, keep me informed if you get him as FantasyME first or control him first in Bit Boy!!
And keep in mind - it's FUN to play |

What does it do? hm? It just is Kubi and Kubi does what he always does (look at the trailer) ... he is a jumpy Pixel ... and in PLÄTTCHEN you can also change his colour if you want to
But hey, you own the game - just start it and have fun with the coming up time travelling Bit Boy Kubi |

This is greatly documented in the ONLINE MANUAL and also on http://Plattchen.Bplus.at . Maybe there is also Information that may help you with the gameplay!
At the Menu Screen just select PROFILES and then select the Profile you use (I think it is the first one) by SHOOTING THE BUBBLE on the right. In the Name Entry Screen you have to shoot the Bubbles to Enter your Name... or just have fun by trying to shoot all the Bubbles - which is easier in 4P CoOp (Yes, NameEntry CoOperative Mode ). You can DELETE chars by pressing the MINUS-Button or the +PAD. If you shoot a Bubble using MINUS or the +PAD you can REPLACE a char.
You can Change between Profiles by pressing UP or DOWN on the +PAD in the Profile Selection or Menu Screen! |
Can you delete profiles all together? I accidently created a profile and I want to delete it. |

I've heard both good things and bad things about P:TnP. I guess it's one of those "polar" games, where you either love it or hate it, never in the middle.
Still, I'm skeptical enough to wait for my birthday before getting it. |

When is your birthday? soon? Great to hear, that you will get it too
No, you cannot delete a Profile-Name (because of HighScore-issues and LockedLevels and so on) - but you can give them any Fun Names if you like.
Use the +Control Pad in the Main Menu to switch between different Profiles on the fly. |

If by "soon", you mean, "October", yes. I COULD buy it now, but if I don't like it, I don't wanna say, "That was a waste of money.", since I've heard things from both ends about Plattchen. Same goes for Niki. |

It's a great game if you like puzzle games. The only real problem for beginners is at the start you may feel lost and not know how to play. Read the turtortial a few times and the online manual on the Shop Channel. If you are still confused we can help you out. Second you may be overwhelmed by everything that happens but give it a bit it sink it. Not only that but this game should last you a long time. There's so much to unlock and theres many, many levels. Each Fantasy World is very unique and it visually look good for Wiiware.
Also be warned the difficulty is a bit high but I think that's a good thing. I don't think beating Niki would be that rewarding if it wasn't so difficult, which I also enjoyed. You haven't gotten Niki yet? If you are really worried about spending points, you think you could try out Niki since it's only 500? |

Yes, I am sorry that PLÄTTCHEN starts that much - it is the reason why many reviewers may have dismissed it. But as an Arnie-Retro-Fan-Guy it should be the right challenge for you!
It is always great to read all your positive comments! Thank you for the kind words. |

@KGX:
1: I don't have enough points to buy Niki, so I'd have to spend $10 for a $5 game, since you can only buy Wii Points in increments of $10. (I'd like to meet the genius who thought that one up.)
2: Long time? Don't worry, I'm well aware of that. 100 hours for a game is pretty damn impressive.
3: Yes, I do like puzzle games.
4: Hm... After what you said, I may actually buy Plättchen and Niki sooner. But after Bit Boy, since that's supposed to be harder if it's your first Bplus game.
@WiiBoy:
I fail to see how being an Arnold Schwarzenegger/classic game fan will help me play Plättchen. But anyway, thanks for your encouraging words, and you're welcome for mine. |

I got Plättchen today. What do I think? Can't say. Haven't played it long enough. What little I did play, I liked. Problem? Not with the game itself, but my TV is set up in a way that I need to stand on my toes to be able to change colors since you can't do that if the pointer is off-screen. I need to find a way around this.
Matter of fact, I'm gonna play Plättchen right now. |

1. Well, is there a reason not to be?
2. NOOOOO
3. No, not yet. I'm on World 3.
4. No, it's on a shelf a little shorter than me, but the sensor bar is just above my head. It's a pain to have to keep my arm up, especially since I usually play games in my room leaning against the wall on my bed (which is just across from my TV.) |

Did you try the Nunchuck? You can twist it without a problem, I think! Ahm... you can also put the Sensor Bar below the TV as you may know
If you cannot aim directly on the TV and if the TV is big (so you are 3-4m away) please configurate your Wii!
Setup the 'Above' thingy and switch the sensitivity to 4 or 5 if you use a (bigger) LCD-Screen! See the numbers as meters of distance - it configurates the 'ZOOM' of the Wii Remotes IR-Sensor (IR-HiSpeed-Cam) so it can see the sensor bar much better if you are far away. It has NOTHING to do with sensibility of your cursor! (wrong menu information). |

1. I guess I could try it.
2. There's no room in front of my TV, the Sensor Bar has to go on top.
3. My TV's pretty small, so I set the sensitivity to minimum. It's not widescreen, it's only 4:3.
4. I can't get that far from the TV. My room is so cramped compared to my room in my last house, I can't play some Wii games. |

Well, it's hard yes but if you stick with it, it's rewarding. I gotta get back into the game again as I've given it a break for a while since there's been a lot of stuff that's been coming out recently that's captured my attention but rest assured, I do miss playing the game.
I will admit that the Copycat stages ARE difficult but not impossible. Just have tight time requirements. |

Nintendo is now experimenting with demos on WiiWare - if they are a success you can be sure that we will create a demo-version of PLÄTTCHEN soon. If and when more demos will arrive WiiWare will be decided in early 2010 by Nintendo.
Once we have the green light for demos we may consider to release a PLÄTTCHEN demo a little later, because it is such a huge game. We also have to decide what content a demo version should deliver as its best. So I think we will first work on demo versions of Bit Boy!! and Niki - Rock 'n' Ball.
I hope you are fine with that too, aren't you? |

How about some confidence with a side order of proof?
The demos available now greatly increased sales of their respective full versions, at least in America. (Don't know about everywhere else.) Just look at NintendoLife's latest WiiWare Top 20. |
