Yeah, I think a lot of the time the new games take that long to show up in there. Fingers crossed anyway |
Well I think it may be done moving in the U.K, been at 7th now for 4 days. |
Very possibly. Was hoping to see it break into the top 5. But it's placed higher than some of the more commercial titles which is good. It'd be interesting to know how many people had downloaded it.

I'd like to know that too, but I don't think any WW dev are aloud to say, that is if Ninty even let them know.
Cool pic Bot

Bit Boy!! has dropped to 11th in the Wii Shop Channel UK chart. Shame but not too surprising I don't think after a couple of good weeks. At least it's still in there doing the business There's still a chance it may chart better next time.
Wonder how it's doing everywhere else ...

Ditto, I'm amazed that no one has made a site with everyone's top 20's up
But about it dropping, I knew FFCCMLAAD hitting would stop sales of everything else, lol.
Amazing game though
Even if it is 6,800 points
Although I'm positive that it only cost me 6,700.
Because I had 2,500 and I bought MUSHA for 900 leaving me 1,600, then I added 6,000 points. So that's 7,600 and I've got 900 left.
So that's 6,700 isn't it?

Lol! Your maths haven't let you down. That is correct
It is pricey, but if it's as challenging and awesome as the first one it should be great (and worth the empty pockets! Haha!).
I'm personally having so much fun with BPlus games I'm wondering if Plattchen would be worth investing in. It sounds good.
Anyway, back on topic. I'm sure our overseas friends will provide us with some Top 20s soon ... *hint hint*

I wonder what's cheaper then, because now that I've bought them I can't see the prices yet the Wii Ware operations guide adds upto 6,800, so something is 100 points cheaper.
Anyway just quickly staying off topic...

Very strange. Maybe they felt sorry for bankrupting you so let you off with 100 points
Thanks for the vid review. The game does sound complicated, but I have the sort of mind that needs to be constantly stimulated so this game may be just what I need And it looks very pleasing on the eye.
Going back to Bit Boy!! I swear I noticed a texture in one of the levels that's an actual picture of a character. But I died before I got the chance to go back and look. Think it was on the 64-bit levels (or maybe 32-bit).

A few days ago I predicted that Bit Boy had still to reach its peak in Italian chart... but I was wrong, it never went over the 13th place and yesterday it dropped to 20th place.

The texture just shows some kind-of-smilies buildt with stones - so it is a photo taken as a texture in some of the 64-BIT levels
There is no great secret behind it
In Super Mario 64 they often used photos and changed them a bit to get a nice texture - I just followed its style with that era.

It's really cool, and it's those little details that make it so awesome. Every time I play I notice some new detail in there that makes me smile
And shame to see it drop to 20th in Italy

No idea, it's odd alright.
Well as I said in the vid it's only complicated for a little while then you get used to how it works and it's fine.
And the one thing that no one seems to mention, there's no timer.
Which really is a big thing. Because every negative review I've seen, seems to imply that you have to race through going a mile a minute at every step of every stage. And that's so wrong, you can just take your time to work out what to do next and just chill. Yeah there's bits where you have to go mad and change tile after tile after tile, but again, because you can just work it out in advance it's not a huge problem.
Anyway, we really should be disscussing this in the Plattchen forum, so yeah enough O.T from me now

Hello HorseFellow!
It is great to see that you love the game - even if it was hard to understand what you wrote in your post. My English is not that good (coming from Austria) so please try to write in good English if possible
Yeah, I know... the ending... there is not a real ending but instead of it we put new game modes into the CREDITS.
The STORY CHANGES after you play through all Bit Generations! Watch the story again and you will see, that Kubi rescued all his friends and is back in the present time

Niki: Rock 'n' Ball is a very good game. I highly recommend it, especially since it's only 500 Wii Points.

Nice idea BlueProtoman
Cannot wait to see the 128-BIT Kubi
@Horsefellow: You can find the TOP20 in the Shopping Channel by clicking on 'WiiWare' and 'Popular Titles'. I am not sure if Bit Boy!! is in the TOP20 in the US. You can download it when you click on 'Publishers' and 'Bplus' or just by searching for it by its game title.
You see the Story of Kubi again when you start Bit Boy!! and press the +Button on the main screen.
We have nothing to announce about projects right now.

No, and I don't speak it either. However, the program I used isn't that hard to figure out. Despite the language barrier, I can use it quite easily.

The hat and belt will look weird, since Cube Kingdom only supports cubes, and you can't change their sizes either.

Welcome to the forum Horsefellow. And great fan art Blue Propopman Looking forward to seeing the next eras
It's hardly surprising BPlus have nothing new to annouce (though we're all eager for the next project), let's face it, Bit Boy!! has only just hit the market. Hope WiiBoy isn't letting some of the recent backlash deterr him from the business. Both of your games I own are true gems and gladly sit beside my Tetris, Toki Tori and Bomberman Wiiware games. And they are therapeutic in ways that I won't explain here. So keep up the good work. And I hope you take our support here to heart. You should

I read that some of you have fun with your girlfriend and other girls... playing Bit Boy!! and I have to say that one of my best friends called Anna showed me that retro-games of that kind are great for girls.
Maybe graphics or controls or gameplay seem sometimes make problems for some girls. I played WRECKING CREW with Anna and she loved it. She is very bad in Super Mario Bros. and many other games - but this kind of THINKING & RUNNING was easy for her and she had much fun with it! I decided to create a game which is as simple and as much fun for girls. Niki - Rock 'n' Ball was also fun for her but I think she wanted to throw her Wii Remote out of the window ... like she wants with many games
Now, she really loves Bit Boy!! and thinks that Kubi is soooo cute - she played through the game and now she thinks that Bit Boy!! is one of the greatest games she ever played. Another kind of human being had fun with our games - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
it's fun to play!
I often got messages (also from non-posters) who describe how much fun they have with playing our games - also with friends or family. I ask you all to post those comments right into the forums (in the specific threads) because it is always great to read how much fun you all have and to read which experience and effects our games have on your family and friends at all

Thank yo ufor your help, I will find the AMERICAN 20 and post that when I can to see if BIT BOY is it in. I told my friends to buy it and I hope they do and I played it with a friend and she got bored, but if you play the mode with the dimonds she liked it again. that one was fun
In your next BIT BOY game it should be liekd LEGEND OF THE ZLDA, with bit boy walking around and fihitng bad guys and solving dongons, and killing bosses, and kgetting weapons and items. that would be fun, a bit boy game laike ZELDA. you prbably can't call it ZELDA though (I think you need nintendo permsission.)
One question is why is BIT BOYS friends so scary??? they look like monsers and laterin the game they are een scaryer and it creeps me out

Sounds like your friend Anna has good taste I think you mentioned in another post that online gaming can never substitute sitting together with someone and playing games, and that is so true. Gaming brings out so many emotions it's just not the same without that person in the room to share them with.
I think girls aren't quite as obsessed with graphics and understand the mechanics of the gameplay (or at least appreciate them) sometimes more often than us boys. At least in my experience anyway.

I will not be outdone. Behold!
Just you wait. I got Blast Works in the mail today. Unfortunately, since I'm at my dad's apartment (and the game was sent to my mom's house), I won't be able to start playing until Monday, and it might take longer until I can make Kubi. (Supposedly, the editors are somewhat complex.)

Some great work there guys
Is that the editing tool from Blast Works? (The damned thing still hasn't arrived! So I don't know).
And speaking of Japanese, anyone else find it odd how Kanji features what are essentially smileys?
If you're not sure what I mean, it's the first Kanji in the green box.
I'd love to learn how to read it one day, and no not just to find out if that means happy
But because I'm heavily into Manga now and there's some great Japanese games out there.
But Horse, Niki is well worth a look if you enjoy Bit Boy because IMO Niki is a better game. Very fun

Thanks I used an old version of Rhino 3d that I used to use when making games (many years ago).
The green box translates to "tsuuru" which translates to tool (more specifically, tool on a computer).
