@Horsefellow: Just attach your .JPEG-Picture on your post by 'Browsing' to your picture, fill out the comment and then press the 'Add Attachment'-Button.
@MattL: And I thought that the artstyle of the 4-BIT Era in Bit Boy!! was abstract enough

Haha! Nothing wrong with violet leaves!
The more abstract the better in my opinion
Right, I'll see what else I can dream up for you to insult! Hehe!!!

How about 2-bit.
Everything is just lines

Hmmm ... I'm not one to bear a grudge ... But you're for it!! Lol!
Wonder if any of you guys are still as hooked as I am to this game. The more time spent on the Wii era the more I think it's one of the best (but then I say that about them all! Hahah!)
Yes, even the garish floor textures are cool

I'll see your 2-bit and raise you a 1-bit game with black/white graphics, no sound, extremely low resolution, and the inability to display more than one sprite at a time.
Also, I made Kubi in Blast Works! If you go to www.blastworksdepot.com and search Kubi (using a Wii, so I can't post a direct link), you'll find a familiar red cube. Guess who helped Kubi grace the game with his presence. I'm probably one of the first people to do so, if not THE first. You can't see Kubi's face in the thumbnail, but rest assured, it's there and easily visible during the game.
On a related note, his attack is terrible, so if you allow Kubi to invade your Wii again, be sure to improve his firing rate. I didn't know that you can't make bullets in Blast Works very strong.

| Well it looks like the Bit Boy top 20 train has ended for the U.K, left a couple days ago and isn't coming back (Sometimes they hover for a few days), shame.

Yes, Kubi's face is visible if you use him in-game.

It is a shame, I was hoping for a bit of a resurgence. Surely Nintendo could have promoted the game better, I've not really seen any promotions of it, other than a quick vid on the Nintendo Channel.
On the flip side of the coin, it seems to be going strongly in Finland and Sweden. Maybe because it's Scandinavian for value

But that would've taken some effort, and honestly, when the hell has Nintendo ever shown that when it comes to there online/download services?
Great Wii Ware games get no T.V time at all, but family casual crap mk2.0 gets 5 ads a show.

True. They usually send out some emails promoting the games (which is miraculous) but I didn't get one that week. And nothing on their website. It is disappointing, to say the least. They should be supporting new developers more, especially one who has taken a chance and decided to do something different with their games, and one with such a unique vision.
It's a great service in that it enables developers to make games who wouldn't usually have the financial opportunity, but they should be pushing the service more. And I actually did comment on that when completing their survey.

Even if Ninty pushed there services half as much as Apple push the App store it'd boost sales.

I had to create ann acount here just to express my displeasure with this game. It is not a good game. It's not hard, it's really just poorly made and extremely short. I understand that there is an extra mode but the first mode was mind-numbingly boring that i didn't want to play the extra mode.
One more thing, the frustration factor in this game would be greatly alleviated if when you collected the last bit the enemies stopped. I don't know how many times i died a few seconds after i collected the last bit because enemies were still moving. I understand as well that that is a design choice in the game, but it was a poor design choice. people should enjoy playing your games. There was a lot of clever things that added to the retro atmosphere and i love that aspect but that alone doesn't save this game from failure.

I am very sorry that you did not play the game longer and that it is so frustrating for you.
Bit Boy!! is made to be a reflection of the oldschool video games (especially the first two generations) and we took the game mechanics from these old classics.
Maybe you will play it again and also try the WARP MODE and the two TURBO MODES and have much fun with the game.

Please visit http://BitBoy.Bplus.at and click on MODES for more information!
Once you play through the game it tells you in the credits how you can access the TURBO CLASSIC MODE from the title screen
Psssst - do not tell anyone

You do realise that those are opinion, right? 'cause it kinda looks like you're stating these as facts
Doesn't really matter though, this line...
EDIT by WiiBoy: Removed offensive language
Screams "flamer troll fanboy who only wants to 'cause fights".
Why else would you come to a forum and on your first post launch into a full on swear war?
Anyway, sucks that you didn't like it.

And Demon212, what sort of person cannot provide constructive criticism without turning to inappropriate and offensive language? It's okay to dislike something and have your own opinion but please ...
I read somewhere round here that someone didn't like the classic mode but went on to love the Warp Mode. Why not wait till you've played the thing as a whole before giving a (gratuitously expletive) critique?

Well ... After circumventing millions of evil monsters and saving thousands of Kubis between us all I think we deserve a sequel
By the way, I didn't even know you could access the turbo mode from the menu!! Doh!! Must ... pay ... more ... attention!!! Thanks for the tip WiiBoy.

@ At WiiBoy: Honestly, I thought I'd read them a million times, but must have overlooked the * cough cough! * secret bit
Anyway, you're to blame for that one for making Turbo Mode so addictive
Mr Horsefellow, that is one totally surreal picture. I thought my art was weird Also, what do you mean with Niki? I don't understand what your friend is getting at

1. Why is there a football player? Am I missing something?
2. Bplus can make an action-adventure game, but not with Zelda. They'd either have to pay lots of money to acquire a license, or not get the game released. (Copyright infringement on WiiWare would never get by Nintendo.) You're better off making a fangame starring Kubi and Zelda.
3. Cursing? In Niki? Where did your friends get the drugs they were doing?
